Still chance to have your say on Business Improvement District

Businesses in Rhyl and Prestatyn still have time to share their views on developing a Business Improvement District (BID).

With initial support from businesses in Rhyl and Prestatyn, Denbighshire County Council has commissioned Mosaic Partnership to work with the wider local business community to enable them to understand whether a BID for the two towns would be beneficial.

Businesses have the chance to give their views on a formal BID process being launched by taking part in an online survey which ends on July 20.

A BID is a business-led and funded body formed to improve a defined area.

They provide additional or improved services as identified and requested by local businesses. Services could include extra safety measures, promotional activity, cost saving activities or environmental improvements.

BIDs are funded by a mandatory levy on all eligible businesses following a successful ballot.
