UK Export Finance
The UK’s export credit agency. UK Export Finance helps UK exporters by providing insurance to exporters and guarantees to banks to share the risks of providing export finance. In addition, they can make loans to overseas buyers of goods and services from the UK. UK Export Finance is the operating name of the Export Credits Guarantee Department (ECGD).
Export Britain is the online resource by the British Chambers of Commerce which showcases opportunities in key international markets, and links UK exporters to support available from British Chambers and business groups both in the UK and around the world.
HM Revenue & Customs
HMRC provides assistance on matters relating to importing or exporting. Guides on these subjects can be found in the Imports and exports area of the GOV.UK website and provide assistance on a range of subjects from classifying goods to using online facilities.

The British Chambers of Commerce Accredited Network is the leading private sector provider of export support in the UK.
Enterprise Europe Network
The Enterprise Europe Network helps small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) make the most of business opportunities in the EU and beyond.
Have a look at the many services offered free of charge by their experts in around 600 member organisations, including Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Technology Centre’s, Universities and Development Agencies.
Market Access Database
The Market Access Database (MADB) gives information to companies exporting from the EU about tariffs and import formalities in third country markets.
Department for International Trade
Department for International Trade (D.I.T) staff provide expert trade advice and practical support to UK-based companies who want to grow their business overseas.
The Welsh Government’s Business Wales service supports new and established businesses in Wales.
Business Wales supports the sustainable growth of small and medium size enterprises across the country by offering access to information, guidance and business support. Including the following International Trade support:
- Trading in other countries
- Researching markets
- Signposting to Welsh Government, UKTI and other export support providers
