The cloud is continuing to evolve as more and more people are using it, for a variety of reasons. Forbes suggests that ‘multicloud’ will be a new buzzword in the ‘cloud conversation’ as business pick and choose the different types of cloud they use, or for which particular business or IT processes.
Regardless of how and why you’re using the cloud, the focus will be on making sure all of your different systems are secure, work seamlessly and can be streamlined.
This is great for smaller businesses as it means less pressure to feel like all of your business needs to be hauled into the cloud, and instead you can take smaller steps. Start moving different elements into the cloud, whilst considering how you can integrate these new processes into your existing ones.
Data will be more important than ever
Data has been a key topic of discussion in 2018, particularly with the GDPR. But, it’s not going to die down in 2019. However big or small your business is, you’re likely to have a lot of data – but how effectively are you using it?
