Leading professional services firms in Cheshire and North Wales were given an integrated PR masterclass at a Law Society event.
Digital PR and content marketing agency Outwrite PR delivered an hour’s seminar at the Cheshire and North Wales Law Society event.
The seminar, held at Chester’s University of Law, focused on how Outwrite fuses traditional media relations with digital PR and social media and advanced SEO (search engine optimisation) techniques to boost results and return on investment.
Outwrite’s digital director Anthony Bullick and head of search marketing Derek Booth led the seminar.
Anthony and Derek showed attendees how integrated PR looks in practice with an award-winning campaign carried out on behalf of Jackson Fire & Security.
The campaign won best integrated campaign at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Cymru Wales Awards and was shortlisted for three others across the UK.
Firms at the presentation included Allington Hughes Law, and Emmerson Accountancy.
Paul Emmerson, director of specialists in the optical sector at Emmerson Accountancy, said: “The presentation was a brilliant insight into integrated PR and marketing.
“The professional services industry is advancing all the time, and thanks to Anthony and Derek I have a better understanding of how PR and SEO can work together.”
Jemma Ali, marketing manager at Allington Hughes Law, said: “Anthony and Derek’s presentation was thorough and full of useful information.
“It highlighted the importance of PR and SEO within a professional business, helping me identify opportunities to integrate our marketing in a very competitive industry.”
Anthony said: “The presentation was a brilliant opportunity to discuss what modern-day PR should look like for businesses.
“PR and SEO can really benefit professional service firms, but lots of businesses are unaware of integrated PR or are unsure about the best techniques.
“The Law Society carries out a lot of work to support its members and we’re pleased to have been able to help the group learn more about PR and digital marketing.”
The North Wales and Cheshire Law Society was formed in 1859 and works to represent, promote and engage with legal professionals to maintain high industry standards in the region.
Outwrite’s clients include the Wales Air Ambulance, Wynne Construction, Mold-based chemicals firm Synthite, and engineering, planning and environmental specialists Caulmert.
