The Townhouse Hotel Chester have joined the Young Chamber Programme, to help bridge the gap between skills and the education sector.

The team from The Townhouse Hotel will be involved with all aspects of Young Chamber, offering advice in careers talks and mock interview days, as well as engaging with our enterprise and student projects. We now have eight Young Chamber schools involved in the programme, all enthusiastic to have our fantastic Young Chamber sponsors become involved with equipping their school students with qualifications and skills to take into their future careers or education.

Steven Hesketh, CEO of The Know Group, commented: ‘The Townhouse Hotel  is delighted to be a Sponsor of the Young Chamber Programme. Now more than ever the need to engage with students at school age is imperative in order to assist businesses in bridging the skills gap in industries such as hospitality. I am always keen to engage with students about the vast career opportunities that working in hospitality can provide which will help to mould my companies future talent.’

Debbie Bryce, Deputy CEO of the WCNW Chamber, said: ‘The Townhouse Hotel Chester are a much welcomed addition to our Young Chamber sponsors list. As we continue to welcome more schools to the programme, the support of our sponsors has been key in ensuring the continued success of Young Chamber. We look forward to working with The Townhouse Hotel on our upcoming projects and I’m sure that the students in our Young Chamber schools will benefit greatly from the expert advice from within the hospitality sector.’
