On 14th May, the West Cheshire & North Wales Chamber of Commerce held a sell out Round the Table Networking Event at Moneypenny, Wrexham.

The ever popular location proved to be a hit once again with the number of bookings for the event reaching maximum capacity. Firms from across the region were welcomed to the impressive venue, built in 2016, which features a treehouse meeting room, its own village pub and a sun terrace.

A selection of breakfast treats greeted guests as they made their way into the village pub, where the networking would take place, before Louise Wilson, Business Manager at Moneypenny, gave a brief overview of the company that handles 15m calls and chats annually on behalf of their clients.

Dan Ward, Membership Executive at the Chamber, then commenced the networking proceedings by inviting guests to sit in tables of eight. Each person then had two minutes to introduce themselves and give an overview of their organisation as they work their way around the table. This gives guests a great opportunity to quickly build their connections and meet like-minded business people.

“As we’ve come to expect form Chamber events, an excellent, well organised networking opportunity in the wonderful, new Moneypenny HQ. A demonstration of how small business can grow overtime in North Wales & West Cheshire – inspirational.” said Ian Traynor of Luminate Ventures Limited.

Those in attendance then had the opportunity to have a tour of the remarkable facilities at Moneypenny which are all designed to create the perfect working environment for their employees.

Dan Ward was thrilled with the success of the event, saying; “The turnout today was amazing and I cant thank Louise and the team at Moneypenny enough for their hospitality. Our networking events give firms a fantastic opportunity to build connections and are a great platform for facilitating business. I’m sure those in attendance found the event useful and were able to form new relationships.”

Our next networking event is a lunch at Opera Grill, Chester on 23rd May, we hope to see you there!
